I participated in the 1st Visual Poetry & Performance Festival at the Mission Cultural Center in San Francisco. The poets and artists displaying poetry in varying ways absolutely thrilled and excited me.

One of the organizers of this festival, Adrian Arias, is a talented and prolific artist, poet, photographer, painter, drawer and father. He has taken poetry to all-encompassing route that can include language, photography, drawing, and even homemade ceviche (as some of you may recall from past readings).
